Meet Me
Hi! I’m Jess. Writing about yourself is always awkward, so bear with me. I guess I will start with the fact that I LOVE my job. I love that I have the opportunity to pursue a passion with so much support from my loved ones. I am not much of a gushy person, but watching other people's love stories truly warms my heart (especially cheesy rom coms).
I am a college graduate, but a non-degree user! I am 25 years old and recently moved back to Colorado. I previously lived in South Dakota where I went to college, and played and coached volleyball. I travel back and forth often to visit my people, but I also hope to travel to as many other states as possible.
I love love LOVE yummy handmade ice cream, a good tv show, warm weather, being competitive, staying organized, wearing comfy clothes, and spending quality time with my people because they mean the world to me.
My Why…
A few years ago I got some photos taken of myself by a wonderful photographer. I connected with her as if we were best friends! She made me fall in love with every aspect of taking photos. She enlightened my experience by making me comfortable and laugh. When I got the gallery back it truly showed who I was. Even now, I love the relationship I have with her. I want to be able to create that experience for others. I want to capture love stories, moments, feelings, and everything in between.
I have always taken photos off my parent's or brother's camera when we went on various trips, but as I said, I fell in love with it more recently. I bought my first camera in 2021 and just started shooting lots of friends. I have mainly taught myself from online videos and just messing with the settings. Building your own business from the ground up and meeting some cool people along the way will always be great memories.
My main goal as a photographer is to serve you 100%. I want it to feel more like a hangout rather than a photoshoot. To break it down; we will meet up, chat, I will make you spin, cuddle in fields, run around, and have you move weirdly because that is what makes you laugh. When you are laughing and showing real emotions is when the photos showcase you and the RAW you comes out. I love having the opportunity to capture the sweetest moments of my clients. I want all of you to be able to look back at your photos and remember how you felt in those moments!
